Find your phone model before you order NEW'C glass

A screen protector fits one shape of screen, and two phones with the same name and a different suffix rarely share one. Here is where your phone keeps its exact model name, and where to go next.

Why the suffix matters more than the number

Apple lists the iPhone 16 with a 6.1-inch display, the iPhone 16 Plus with 6.7 inches, the iPhone 16 Pro with 6.3 inches and the iPhone 16 Pro Max with 6.9 inches. Four phones, one number, four sizes of screen. A glass cut for one of them leaves a gap or overhangs the edge on the other three.

The reverse also happens. By Apple's measurements the iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 and iPhone 16 Pro share one screen size, and our glass for those three phones is one glass. That is why every NEW'C screen protector names the models it fits, and why you should order by that list and not by the number on your phone.

Your iPhone or iPad

On iPhone and iPad, open Settings, tap General, then About. The Model Name line gives the name in plain words, such as iPhone 15 Pro Max. Apple adds that the Model Number line shows a part number first, and tapping it reveals the model number, which you can look up on Apple's lists of iPhone and iPad models.

If the phone will not turn on, Apple says an iPhone 8 or later with a SIM tray has its model number printed inside the tray slot. iPad names are longer, such as iPad Air 11-inch (M3) or iPad mini (A17 Pro), so match the generation as well as the size. Our NEW'C iPad glass is sold by those exact names.

Two recent iPhones trip people up more than the rest. The iPhone Air has a 6.5-inch screen, a size of its own in Apple's list, so it takes its own glass and its own camera lens cover. The iPhone 16e shares its 6.1-inch figure with the iPhone 16, yet Apple describes the iPhone 16 screen with the Dynamic Island and the 16e screen without it. Read the whole name on the About screen, including that last letter.

Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel

Samsung's instructions are to open Settings and tap About phone, or About tablet. The model shows there, though the menu can look a little different by carrier and software version. Read the whole name: a Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Edge and S25 Ultra each take a different glass, and our glass for the A16 5G is not made for the A16 4G.

On a Pixel, Google says to open Settings, tap About phone and scroll to Model. The box carries the model too. Pixel 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL and 9a are four separate fits on our NEW'C Pixel shelf.

Xiaomi, OnePlus, Motorola and the Switch

Most other Android phones keep the model under an About phone entry in Settings. If yours words it differently, the box and the receipt carry the full name. Watch for the small letters: a Redmi Note 13 and a Redmi Note 13 Pro are different phones, and so are a POCO M7 4G and a POCO M7 Pro.

For the Nintendo Switch, the four consoles are four screens: Switch, Switch OLED Model, Switch Lite and Switch 2. Our Switch glass comes in a separate fit for each.

Which NEW'C shelf to open

Once you have the name, find its row in the table and follow the link to its shelf. Every product there lists its fits, so the last check takes a few seconds.

Choosing a NEW'C MagSafe case

Our MagSafe cases are cut for twenty iPhone models, from the iPhone 12 to the iPhone 17 Pro Max and the iPhone Air, and each case names its model. All of them sit in the family Apple lists for its MagSafe Charger. Apple names the iPhone 16e among the phones that charge without MagSafe, so check the model before you pick a case. Apple also warns against putting credit cards or key fobs between the iPhone and a MagSafe charger. See the NEW'C iPhone cases by model.

Once you know the model, the glass for your phone is a few clicks away in the NEW'C range, and the installation guide takes it from there.

Questions

Questions about finding your model

Will a NEW'C glass fit your iPhone 16 Plus?

Only a glass that names iPhone 16 Plus in its fits. The iPhone 16 Plus has a 6.7-inch screen and the iPhone 16 a 6.1-inch one, so their glass is not shared. Check Settings > General > About > Model Name, then open the iPhone 16 page.

Where do you find the exact model of your Galaxy for NEW'C glass?

Open Settings and tap About phone. Read the full name, including Plus, Ultra, Edge, FE, 4G or 5G, because each of those takes a different glass on the Galaxy shelf.

Does one NEW'C glass fit iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro?

Yes, one of our glasses is cut for exactly those three, and Apple measures their screens at the same size. Every other pairing needs its own glass, so read the fits list on the product.
