NEW'C glass for the Redmi Note 9S and Note 8
Two sizes cover 6 Xiaomi phones here. One is shared by the Redmi Note 9S, Redmi 9 Pro and Redmi 9 Pro Max, and the other by the Redmi Note 8, the Note 8 2021 and the Mi 9 Lite.
The Note 9S screen curves at its edges, so the glass covers the flat area and stops before the curve. You will see a thin band of bare screen along each side of your Redmi, and that band is where the glass is meant to end.
The Note 9S glass is 0.33 mm thick, rated 9H on the pencil hardness scale as the box says, with an oleophobic coating against fingerprints. A silicone adhesive layer holds it in place without dulling your taps, and if a fall cracks it, the crack stops in the top layer instead of the Redmi display.
Newer Redmi Note phones, from the Note 11 Pro to the Note 14, take a different glass in the NEW'C catalog.
